Certification Program for Partner Business Content for SAP Business Technology Platform

Gartner’s research findings indicate that there is a growing trend of organizations moving their analytics and data warehousing workloads to the cloud.┬áSAP is privileged as being recognized as one of the leading vendors in providing analytics and data warehouse cloud solutions( SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere). There is no doubt that SAP has and would be playing a significant role in this cloud adoption in the coming years.

In today’s fast-paced business world, staying competitive and up-to-date with the latest technologies is essential. Cloud computing has revolutionized the way businesses operate, and with the increasing volume of data, the demand for analytics and data warehousing has also grown exponentially.

Business content plays a critical role in enabling self-service analytics, as it provides users with pre-built templates, reports, and dashboards that can be easily customized to meet their needs. This allows users to gain insights into their data more quickly and easily, ultimately resulting in improved business outcomes. As organizations continue to move their analytics and data warehousing workloads to the cloud, the need for reliable and efficient business content will only increase.

SAP provides business content for customers to fast track their cloud data warehouse or analytics use cases. SAP Partners too have long been providing business contents that have been developed for line of business and industry use cases, combining their rich experience in both SAP and non-SAP data sources.

To identify, validate and promote partner business content, a new certification program has been launched for SAP partners. This certification program provides technical validation and the “certified” credential to the business content. This credential will serve as an additional go-to-market tool for the certified contents. The program provides an opportunity for the partners to showcase their expertise and get identified as “certified” in the SAP Store.

The certification covers a broad range of topics, including data modeling, data integration, data analytics and data visualization. It also emphasizes the importance of best practices, security, and compliance in the development of business content for cloud solutions.

Please click the link for more information about the certification.

The benefits of completing this certification are numerous. Certification provides technical validation to the business content built by the partner organization. This technical validation serves as a stamp of approval that the content is technically sound and meets SAP guidelines on content development. This validation can be a powerful marketing tool for the partners, as it instills confidence in their customers that the content is reliable and efficient.

If you are a partner looking to develop business content or if you already have developed one, we recommend the PartnerEdge guide for exploring the content development guidelines and its monetization. And if you would like to get your content “SAP Certified”, please contact us at icc@sap.com or you can apply via SAP ICC Application form for a quick discussion.

      Hi Mustafa,

The content applied for certification are expected to follow development, security guidelines that are shared at https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_ANALYTICS and https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_DATASPHERE

      Here are some more references:

If content uses custom widgets https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_ANALYTICS_CLOUD/0ac8c6754ff84605a4372468d002f2bf/2524b21ac5ec45649a64f9dd1c934718.html

      Datasphere content sample https://github.com/SAP-samples/datasphere-content

For contents that depend on S4HANA based custom CDS views, those need to follow the S4 naming convention i.e. a registered namespace e.g. /PARTNER/

      Best Regards,

      Saurav
