Trustworthy AI is one of the three key pillars that SAP’s AI strategy is built on.
SAP believes that artificial intelligence has the potential to unlock all kinds of opportunities for businesses, governments, and society. However, AI also has the potential to create economic, political, and social challenges.
The speed at which the technology has moved into common usage has outpaced the necessary guidance from government policymakers regarding the sustainable and safe development of AI.
For these reasons, the development, deployment, use, and sale of AI systems at SAP needs to be governed by a clear, ethical set of rules.
