I have been frequently asked by customers and partners if their project requires Advanced Transportation Management functionalities with additional TM engine licenses
or they can use basic Transportation Management without additional license fees as it is included in the standard SAP S/4HANA license.

3065464 may answer the questions by specifying in detail the respective features within Basic Transportation Management or Advanced Transportation Management. If the feature requires Advanced Transportation Management, the respective license is listed.
For those who have already implemented TM functionalities in S/4HANA. Note
3289248 provides you with an easy way. Transaction “/SCMTMS/AUDIT” is available to help find out whether you are using functionality which needs the additional Advanced TM license. The report in the note selects the usage of the main features. Those features which are obviously in the usage of Advanced TM are not listed in the report such as the Fiori Collaboration Apps or Embedded Analytics, etc.
