That’s why, as part of making learning as easy and convenient as possible for SAP Community members, SAP is bringing back SAP CodeJam in full force. This year, we’re expanding the program in a major way with the launch of an even more extensive SAP CodeJam Roadshow!
SAP CodeJam on the Road
SAP CodeJams give developers, at all stages of their careers, the chance to try out SAP technologies, platforms, and tools through simple, end-to-end scenarios.
At these onsite events, you can learn directly from SAP developer advocates, product managers, and other SAP experts, who’ll guide you through in-depth exercises, answer questions, share tips, and offer best practices. In addition, SAP CodeJams are a great place to meet peers with similar interests, make lasting connections, and just have fun.
What’s new in 2023, though, is the scale of the program. With this year’s SAP CodeJam Roadshow, we’ll bring hands-on learning directly to you in nine cities in Europe, plus one in the U.S, all in under three weeks. So, no need to worry about red-eye flights or missed connections; you can just focus on learning.

Topics at SAP CodeJam Roadshow
SAP CodeJam Roadshow will focus on two often-requested topics:
ABAP Cloud and the RESTful Application Programming Model: Many SAP developers know that ABAP Cloud is the ABAP-based development model for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP S/4HANA on premise, and SAP BTP, ABAP environment. In this hands-on experience, developers will create their first ABAP application using ABAP Cloud, expose and consume services via HTTP, and explore the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model.
SAP Cloud Application Programming Model with SAP HANA Cloud: In this workshop, developers will deploy and configure an instance of the SAP HANA Cloud trial, develop a multi-target application using SAP Business Application Studio and SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, and create a service layer and SAP Fiori UI that also includes SAP HANA native artifacts.
