SAP for Me: What’s new and what should I know?
Today: SAP ONE Support Launchpad Notifications Accessible Through SAP for Me
In this new blog series, I am going to show you what has been deployed recently in SAP for Me and how you can benefit from the latest and greatest features and functions.
If you are struggling to manage notifications, you can now opt-in to notifications and select your preferred channel, i.e., which format to receive notifications for important updates (e-mail, text message, website alert), centrally from within the SAP for Me portal: By clicking the Settings icon in the Communication Center, you will be offered two options:
- SAP Communication Center
- SAP ONE Support Launchpad
If you select SAP Communication Center, the #communications is opened.
If you select SAP ONE Support Launchpad, the SAP ONE Support Launchpad Notification Center is opened, integrated into the SAP for Me My Settings area.
(You can also access this page via My Settings in your SAP for Me user profile.)
Here you can choose the notifications that matter most to you as well as the format you want to receive them in: Launchpad, E-Mail, SMS. By selecting Launchpad, you will be alerted about important updates through the notification icon not only in the SAP ONE Support Launchpad header, but also through its equivalent in SAP for Me. By clicking on Filter in the Communication Center in SAP for Me, you can multi-select available notification categories:
There you have it. In just a few steps you are now able to manage your notifications via SAP for Me. If you don’t have used SAP for Me by now, here is the link: https://me.sap.com/home
