Thanks for the informative post Yumnah. With these changes, is it possible to seamlessly upgrade from standard to advanced editions?

Thanks for the info, but the sentence

      >There is no action required on your part; you can lean back and enjoy the service.

is a little bit funny, because the new workflow template start using "SAP Build Process Automation" service instead former workflow service and there is much more, that needs to migrated.

It's not as easy as explained 😉

      Regards Holger

      Dear Yumnah,

Thanks for your post! In Launchpad service pricing was determined by users, but in WorkZone standard edition a new metric called "Connections" for standard edition was added. How it works now, by users OR connections, or users AND connections?

      Thanks in advance!

      Hi Daniel!

      Hi Daniel!
We have the following metrics for the standard edition:
      - Active User (per month) for (internal) employees and
      - Connections (per month) for external users: this pricing option suits B2B scenarios with external (non-employee) users such as partners or suppliers with infrequent usage and access to the customer’s site. This new "connections-based" metric was added as of January 23.

You find more information on the Discovery Center for Subscriptions. For CPEA and PAYG the information is not yet updated on the Discovery Center, but should come soon.

      Best regards

      Vera

      Hi Vera,

Thanks for your reply, very useful information!

Metric are automatically detected, or can be selected in service provisioning proccess?  In case of automatic detection, how can we configure user type (external or internal)?

      Many thanks & Best regards!

      Hello Daniel,

your external users (non-employees) should be assigned to a dedicated role. Based on this we are counting the "connections" of these users per month.

The documentation in SAP Help Portal is being updated with additional details in the coming days: Commercial Model and Metering

      Best regards
      Thomas
