Introduction
Recently I was working on multiple conversion projects where we had a requirement from the client that he is unable to get the select screen parameters after selecting Z variants. After system conversion or upgrade, if we do not get select screen parameters in existing Z variants. we can adjust the invalidated report variants.
In order to do that, please follow the below steps.
We will go T-Code: SE38 and will enter the Program "RSVARDOC_NEW" as below.
Note: Before using the above program. we are using the program "RSVARDOC_610". but now this program is obsolete. Please see the below note for your reference.
Please click on Execute and we will get the below screen.
Now we need to enter the report or variant in the above screen. to get the report name, Please check the T-Code, which you are executing, or check the Z variant.
Ex: T-Code: FBL5N
Go to T-Code: FBL5N -> From the menu click on SYSTEM -> STATUS -> Check the program name and enter into Report filled as below.
Click on execute.
If any adjustments are required, the system will adjust and display for Z variants. After that, we can check at the respective T-Code level if Z variant values are displaying or not.
