Partners unleash the power of SAP Data Warehouse Cloud in APJ
The sheer volume, variety and velocity of data generated by business applications, e-commerce channels, marketing systems, IoT-connected devices is staggering and overwhelming to manage and derive insights from available data. Businesses are in the pursuit of bringing back this data to the Business and leverage its insight to enter markets, introduce new business models, and sustain competitive advantage. The SAP Data Warehouse Cloud solution helps companies to unleash the power of data and analytics to achieve faster and better business outcomes. SAP enables faster time to action with a unified data and analytics solution and prebuilt business content.
In addition to SAP’s prebuilt business content, we closely work with our ecosystem and encourage them to extend, enhance and build new analytics solution and prebuilt business content leveraging the SAP Data Warehouse Cloud solution and combining it with SAP BW Bridge to help protect, and retain customers existing on-premise data warehouse investments. This ambition was realised through Hack2Build, a partner innovation initiative from SAP. We encouraged partners with their understanding and knowledge to build innovative data models, semantic views of application data, and to enhance transformation and integration logic for SAP and third-party data sources to help accelerate implementation and integration especially for Sustainability and Industry scenarios.
Hack2Build, ‘Beyond a Hackathon’ is an initiative which brings together the creativity and speed of prototyping by the partners in just 7 days. Partners validate their ideas with SAP during the ‘Hackathon phase’ and are encouraged to move from prototyping to the ‘build phase’, to develop their market-ready solution.
The SAP Data and Analytics Hack2Build was held during November 22nd till 29th 2022 in Asia Pacific and Japan. This Hack2Build followed a series of knowledge sessions in the SAP Data & Analytics Accelerator program for partners in APJ (sessions one and two enabled partners and equipped them with the skills and knowledge required to participate in this Hack2Build). After an intense week of ideation and prototyping, 8 partners emerged with strong business cases and working prototypes of their SAP Data and Analytics skills, setting the stage for a lively discussion with our panel of judges during the demo-jam.
In this blog, we highlight the winning solutions built on SAP Data Warehouse Cloud. Incidentally, all three winning partners depicted sustainability use-cases as part of their solution innovation. The partners leveraged multiple capabilities of SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP BW Bridge.
