I am excited to share that as announced over the last months, the transition from SAP Learning Hub Edition for Next-Gen to the state-of-the-art student zone on the SAP Learning site is making incredible progress.  The platform features role-based, future-focused content to help students develop the critical SAP skills that are in-demand in the job market.  Whether a student is inspired to explore careers as a developer, a consultant or a data analyst, SAP Learning offers students the resources to prepare for certification and jumpstart their careers.

The sunset of SAP Learning Hub Edition for Next-Gen continues.  As already shared several times, new registrations are not possible after 31-December, 2022.  Existing learners may complete learning journeys on the edition until 30-June, 2023.

Key learning journeys are available on the student zone today, with additional learning content added in the new year.  As a matter of fact, THE most popular course with students – Explore Integrated Business Processes in SAP S/4HANA (TS410) –  is already live on student zone!  Learners can now prepare to become an SAP Certified Application Associate - Business Process Integration with SAP S/4HANA from student zone.

Student Zone showcases important learning journeys like recently announced SAP Build (Low-Code / No-Code Applications & Automations for Citizen Developers), SAP Signavio (Design Business Processes with SAP Signavio), and SAP Analytics Cloud (Explore SAP Analytics Cloud).  These three and many more provide the opportunity for certification.

While student zone offers curated content we recommend to students, all learners have access to the full catalog of learning journeys offered by SAP Learning.  Please note that content is being updated during the migration process - there is not a one-for-one alignment of learning journeys between the platforms.

What does this mean for you?

It depends on where you are in your own learning path.  I will outline typical scenarios below as a guide.  Post additional questions in the comments and I will update this section accordingly.

Are you a ……

Learner that is starting to explore careers and learning content?
Start with student zone.

Learner that has already started a learning journey with a single course
Continue to work through that course, completing it prior to the June 30, 2023 deadline.

Learner that has already started a learning journey with multiple courses required for certification but has not completed all courses in the series?
Review the learning journey to identify the required courses, and be sure to complete all prior to the June 30th, 2023 deadline.  Courses are updated during the move to student zone so there is not a 1:1 mapping of courses.

Learner that has completed a learning journey but not yet taken the related certification course? .
Sign up for the exam referenced in the learning journey you have completed and refer back to the resources such as the course materials in Learning Hub Edition for Next-Gen for exam prep.

Learner that wishes to complete a learning journey that is not currently offered on student zone?
Student zone features a curated list of learning journeys based on feedback from product and learning experts as well as academia.  There are many more free learning journeys in the course catalog with additional courses added on a regular basis. You may also select training by product.  The alternative is to register for Learning Hub Edition for Next-Gen by 31-December, 2022 and complete the course(s) by 30-June, 2023
