In a recent customer call I was asked about basic functional capabilities in SAP Master Data Governance. I covered various areas, including specific features in data quality management and automation. In this context, I also presented them a video tutorial about the creation of derivation scenarios for automated field population that was launched recently.
Their response was very positive, and they stated that this was exactly the kind of enablement content they had been missing all the time.
It was only after the session that I asked myself why they had been missing that kind of information all the time: They already knew about our how-to page in SAP Community and the various how-to guides that are available there, but obviously they were not aware of any of the short video tutorials that are also part of the page's content. But when I called up the page, I realized that the video tutorials are really not that easy to find: It is true that they are all marked with a video camera icon (📹) in the sub-category column, but this is obviously not really an eye catcher.
Tip: If you search on the page by pressing Strg + F or ⌘ + F (Mac) and enter the search term "video", the page turns out to be more revealing. See here a snapshot from the "Consolidation and Mass Processing" chapter:
There' are many more of these on the page. Just take a look and try - I hope you'll find interesting video tutorials for you across the different page chapters.
