SAP for Me Provisioning Troubleshooting Guide
Dear customer,
What are the requirements to start provisioning in SAP for Me?
1 Check if any cloud installation is available for your customer number.
The Cloud Installation must match the assigned product of your installation.
Currently following products are supported:
- SAP Commerce Cloud
- SAP Integrated Business Planning for Supply Chain
- SAP Central Business Configuration
- SAP S/4HANA Cloud
- SAP Cloud ALM
- Customer Demo system for SAP SuccessFactors embedded Launch Activity, including:
- SAP SuccessFactors HXM Core
- SuccessFactors Learning Management System
- SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting
- SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Posting
2. Check if Entitlements are booked for your customer number
Please note at the present time the SAP corporate group function (COE/CCC) is not supported. Therefore, please use the S-user technically created under the customer number where the Entitlement agreement was booked.
In card ‘Products Available for Provisioning‘, you can find all products that could be triggered.
This includes:
- Entitlements with contract that has started.
- Entitlements with contract that is in the future. (In this case, the provisioning could be triggered, but the system will not be provided before the Contract Start date.)
3. Check if required Authorizations are assigned to the S-user
The authorization required to perform provisioning are:
- Edit Cloud Data
- Display Cloud Data

Hello Dragana,
Thanks for this!
I wanted to check to be sure I understand properly:
Please note at the present time the SAP corporate group function (COE/CCC) is not supported. Therefore, please use the S-user technically created under the customer number where the Entitlement agreement was booked.
This is the S user that is identified as technical on the contract?
The reason I ask, for us, this has brought a challenge as internally sometimes a non technical person gets put into this field or the person who was in the field leaves/retires.
Thanks for the guidance.
Best Regards, Wallace
Dear Wallace,
thank you for your interest and asking as well. I forgot to mention, there are plans to support the SAP Corporate Group Function in the future for Provisioning. Unfortunately, there is no timeline for this.
This is not about the technical user who is registered for an installation. To make this more transparent, your S-user is under customer number A in a corporate group. However, entitlements are booked under customer number B. Even if your user has the authorization to start provisioning, he cannot do this because your S-user is not under the customer number where the entitlements are booked. Hope this clarifies your question. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.
Best wishes Dragana
