The SAP Activate for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition 2-system and public edition 3-system landscape implementation roadmaps recently embedded a layer of Experience Management for digital transformation projects.

The Introduction to Experience Economy accelerator shows the benefits of engaging all stakeholders involved in the business transformation by mitigating risk and safeguarding project KPIs.  Listing relevant use cases, this accelerator showcases how time-to-value, budget management, end user adoption, satisfaction, and advocacy of a new solution such as SAP S/4HANA Cloud are anchored by the Experience Management Transformation (XMT) methodology.

Experience Management Projects and Transformation tasks and procedures provided in the SAP Activate roadmap enable program and project managers, customer success roles and IT professionals on SAP S/4HANA Cloud projects in XMT.  Employing the Experience Management principles of Listen, Understand and Act will allow key stakeholders to secure the success of their business transformations.

Sample survey questions are provided in the survey questions accelerator to capture the project teams’ and business users’ experience throughout the implementation, from Prepare to Run phase.


Surveys along Implementation and after Go-Live


The Readiness Assessment survey is the first round of feedback collection, which will serve as a baseline for the transformation journey.

The Program Goal Alignment survey aims to collect feedback about the core team’s cloud readiness and sheds light on sentiment as the Explore phase begins.

The Solution Validation survey is conducted after the fit-to-standard workshops to ensure everyone feels confident about the team’s collaboration, governance, and empowerment.

The survey on User Acceptance Test Readiness and Training Satisfaction help ensure UAT users are ready for and confident about the UAT, as well as sufficiently trained to foster adoption of the solution.

The Project Performance survey is used throughout the Explore, Realize and Deploy phases.  It can be merged with other surveys at a specific milestone so that respondents don’t have similar surveys to answer within the same timeframe.

The Tracking Goals survey, conducted at the beginning and end of the Deploy phase, not only supports organization change management activities, but also invites participants to give recommendations for improvement.

And finally, the Solution Performance survey is targeted at end users after go-live asking them to provide feedback about usability, stability, speed, support, compatibility and more.
