SAP Partner Finder matches prospects with partners in their region that have the knowledge and experience they’re looking for. It’s a powerful demand-generation tool that drives opportunities for your business – but prospects won’t find you listed unless you create and publish an SAP Partner Finder profile.

What Your SAP Partner Finder Profile Can (and Should) Include

SAP Partner Finder gives you the perfect opportunity to showcase your business. You have ample space on your page within the tool, which leverages SAP’s online visibility. It allows you to communicate your value proposition, detail the services you provide, and outline your industry specializations.

SAP Partner Finder also gives you the opportunity to add resources, such as white papers or articles you’ve written, webinar or podcast replays, success stories, and links to solution pages on your website – along with the “At a Glance” showcase at the top of your profile, which allows you to highlight a video or image of your choosing.

An exceptional profile is also designed to make a good first impression on prospects and detail what makes your business unique, so build it strategically. It’s also wise to review your profile periodically to ensure it’s current and showcases your most recent projects and new offerings.

The more robust and current your profile is, the better your chance is to make an impact and catch a prospect’s attention. When a prospect finds a partner they’re interested in working with, they provide their company and contact information.

If you’re the partner they choose, SAP shares that data with you. And – with over 12,000 contact forms already submitted this year – you’re sure to want to capitalize on the opportunity. But how can you ensure you stand out?

What’s New on SAP Partner Finder

Beginning in November 2022, SAP Partner Finder profiles have two new features to help you showcase your offerings and expertise:

1. Profiles now include SAP-qualified partner-packaged solutions

Built, sold, and supported by SAP partners, SAP-qualified partner-packaged solutions combine SAP software with industry or line-of-business expertise, services, customizations, or applications. With new functionality within SAP Partner Finder, prospects can now review the packages you offer directly from the tool. These offerings are shown both at the top of your profile and under the “Locations” section of your profile. When a prospect clicks on a package, more information for the offering is provided in a pop-up, including the technology the package is based on, industry focus, and any additional special features.

2. Industries and related projects for your competencies now automatically appear on your profile

SAP launched its new Competency Framework in September 2022, recognizing partners in specific areas of competency and the specializations that support them, including:

  • Enterprise Resource Planning

  • ERP for Small and Midsize Enterprises

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Human Capital Management

  • Customer Relationship Management

  • Spend Management

  • SAP Business Technology Platform

SAP automatically adds your competencies and specializations to your profile, communicating to prospects that you and your team have demonstrated knowledge, expertise, and maturity in these areas.

Now, with the new functionality that SAP Partner Finder delivers, prospects can now see the industries related to the projects you’ve completed over the past 24 months.

In addition to these two new benefits, SAP is making changes to the industry taxonomy in SAP Partner Finder. These industries will automatically be updated, so partners do not need to make the changes themselves.
