Integration Channels

SAP Asset Performance Management supports two Integration channels for out of the box point to point integration:

S/4HANA OData APIs

Applicable for SAP S/4HANA CE & SAP S/4HANA 2021 FPS1 onwards

Leveraging Public S/4HANA EAM OData APIs for master & transaction data replication. And C1 released S/4HANA CDS views for configuration data replication.

SAP Mobile Add-on

Applicable for SAP S/4HANA 2020 & SAP ERP

Leveraging custom OData APIs built on Mobile Add-on for configuration, master & transaction data replication.

As Master Data Integration (MDI) matures and One Domain Model (ODM) is available for all relevant EAM objects in future, SAP Asset Performance Management will have consistent integration channel/architecture across latest SAP S/4HANA releases.

      Hi Rahul,

The blog post was really helpful detailing the SAP roadmap for APM integration.

I am wondering whether integration channel ' S/4HANA Odata APIs' is live? How many PM objects are covered? Do custom development is required to setup integration using these APIs?

Appreciate if you can through light on the current status.

      Regards,

      Hi Rajendra,

Yes, the integration channel 'S/4HANA Odata APIs' is live and applicable for customers/partners on S/4HANA 2021 FPS1 & above.

Current supported scope can be found in the integration guide, which ideally should give you an impression of supported PM objects as well.

As far as standard documented integration scope is concerned, no custom development is required.

      Hope this helps.

      Thanks,
