My favorite Employee Central enhancement in the 2H2022 release

My favorite enhancement in this release isn’t even new functionality. It is matured functionality. And since it’s not new it is not likely to grab headlines I thought it only proper that I give this update the sunlight it deserves.  Spread the word to your HR Administrators, because this will make their day!

Hire date correction has been around in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central for a while now, but  until this release it had a major gap: it only worked with future dated hire dates. If you needed to change a present-dated or past-dated hire you were on your own. And “on your own” meant going to individual portlets and manually updating the start dates on each, which is painful!

In this short video, we show how the hire date correction tool has been “corrected” to make it fully functional as of the SuccessFactors 2H2022 release.
