Process Statuses for eDocuments in Saudi Arabia

Hi Community!

The eDocument Cockpit allows you to track the statuses of electronic documents and take actions accordingly.

The system displays the latest status in the Process Status Description column. The eDocument Status column indicates whether a process has been completed and whether actions are required.

The table below describes the possible statuses for the eInvoice process. Some statuses require that you take actions.

Description

Status Explanation Actions
eDocument Created This is the initial status of an eDocument once it has been created in the system. You can preview the XML using display or You can Generate and Store the XML for the eDocument.
Generated and Stored eDocument This is the status of an eDocument once XML was generated and stored in the system.
You can use this option again, after making corrections in the eDocument, for generating
and storing the updated XML.
You can further Download the XML or Send it to Customer.
Note: To check the validation error details, follow the menu: Goto > Application Log and Goto > Interface Log.
Sent To Customer This the status of an eDocument once XML file of the eDocument has been Sent To Customer. There are no further actions which you can do.
Note: To check the validation error details, follow the menu: Goto > Application Log and Goto > Interface Log.

The purpose of this blog post is to present you with the possible actions that can be taken based on an eDocument status in eDocument Cockpit for Saudi Arabia. In addition to that, you can find more information in SAP Help Portal page: eDocument Cockpit. For general topics, I suggest you to visit the following 3 SAP Document and Reporting Compliance pages: TopicsQ&A and Blogs.

I hope you find this information useful and I invite you to follow my profile, for similar content, and to leave a comment or make a suggestion, if you want me to write about another topic related to eDocuments for SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

Thank you!

      Hi

Thanks for sharing, I am in search of a document or way out to view the pdf display button in edoc_cockpit for KSA.

Is there any specific BC set that need to be activated?

      Regards,

      Rashid Masood.
