Administering and Maintaining Employees in Non-Localized Countries/Regions
SAP Business ByDesign provides you option to administer and maintain the employees in non-localized countries/regions, that is, countries/regions not supported by the SAP Business ByDesign.
You can hire and carry out administration tasks for employees in countries/regions not supported by the SAP Business ByDesign system. To do so, in the Business Configuration work centre, you must include the business topic Non-Localized Employees in your project scope.
The country/region of employment is mandatory for hiring and administering an employee. You can select the country/region of employment from the Select Country/Region dropdown menu in the Personnel Administration work centre under Regular Tasks -> Non-Localized Country/Region. Depending on your selection, all relevant links which are required for employee maintenance are enabled.
Steps to include non-localized employees in the project scope
- Go to Business Configuration work centre and choose Implementation Projects.
- Choose Edit Project Scope and navigate to Scoping -> Human Resources -> Personnel Administration. Select Non-Localized Employees.
Following these steps, you will be able to perform the basic operations like employee hiring and management for non-localized countries/regions.
