SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) 2208 – Release Highlights!

We are excited to introduce you to the SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud 2208 release. The 2208 release is pivotal in delivering Industrial Insights & Intelligence. With the 2208 release, we start transitioning from Legacy Insights to Industrial Insights & Intelligence.

Highlights:

Insights – Transitional period “Starts Now.”

Resource Orchestration

• Forward integration of changes from S4H to DMC REO – As of 2208, customers will be able to reflect Qty and date changes in S4H into DMC REO. ( Restriction: Order is Released, and SFC is in progress)
• Backward integration of Changes From DMC REO to S4H- As of 2208, customers will now be able to back integrate operation schedule date changes done for one operation, whole order, or multiple orders from DMC REO  into S4H Cloud and On-prem ( Recommendation: the shift models in S4H and DMC needs to be consistent)
• Mass Release monitoring Board- As of 2208, Customers can now interactively monitor Mass release of operations via the Last released order option
• Responsive POD for WC Change Harmonization between DMC REO and DMC Execution – Scheduling done on Alternative Resources that result in a change of work centers in synchronized with DMC execution
• WC POD now gives the flexibility to select & sort via Operation scheduled dates done in REO.Upload labor data using excel
