Days are getting shorter, weather is getting cooler – SAP TechEd is around the corner! Once again, on November 15–16, you can experience loads of great content from the comfort of home (or your office). We’re bringing TechEd to you. But, for the first time since going virtual, we’ve added an on-site component to create a hybrid event.

The virtual SAP TechEd experience is accessible and free for everyone – simply register to attend. What can you expect? Live-streamed keynotes, lots of breakout and lecture sessions from SAP experts, customers, and partners, customer stories for developers, and of course live workshops for you to participate in.

The new SAP TechEd Hands-on Lab brings the real-life experience back to TechEd. You’ll attend hands-on workshops with our experts in a limited-capacity, immersive setting at The Mirage in Las Vegas. In addition, you can enjoy lounges, showcases, expert bars and SAP Community Talks – all of them offering lots of networking opportunities. Registration fees apply.

We’re offering security sessions in both settings, virtual and on-site. Check out the session catalog and take a closer look at our sessions around security as well as identity and access management topics:

In-person hands-on workshop

Nestle's Journey to SAP S/4HANA: SAP’s Security Design [DT300]
As part of Nestle’s journey to the cloud, several large-scale, cross-region SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC) systems are being adopted to SAP S/4HANA. Greenfield implementations, new UX strategies, new technologies, and the SAP S/4HANA simplification list implicate significant changes to the existing security design. Nestle, together with security and UX experts from SAP, developed a road map to establish a proper security design for SAP S/4HANA.

Single Sign-On and Principal Propagation in Multi-Cloud Environments [XP106]
Interoperability and standards are key in multi-cloud set-ups. This is especially true for user authentication and authorizations when SAP BTP is deployed on a hyperscaler. In this lecture, we will show you how to secure a typical solution architecture by investigating the integration capabilities between SAP Identity Authentication Service and Microsoft Azure Active Directory, enabled by standards such as SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect as well as principal propagation capabilities.

All virtual sessions will be recorded and available for replay after the event. Make sure you bookmark the SAP TechEd event platform!
