Thanks for blog … this is a little confusing:

      1) You misspelled trial in title

      2) There are “trial” accounts that don’t require credit card to get, and then there are global accounts you need a credit card. Within this account you can get free-tier service plans.

It gets more complicated but the point is “trial” generally means one thing and “free tier” another. This is my understanding.

Thank you very much for all the info but I still can not see Process Automation in my trial account.

Are you sure that is available in trial account?

      Hi M jerte

Just go to your BTP Trail Account - Entity Assignment - Select - Trail and check Process Automation is enabled or not ..  If its enabled, you are good to start with above process from my blog.

I am also not seeing Process Automation in my trial account.

I followed your instructions but I only see SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation Trial as a selection if I search 'process automation' from the Entity Assignments in my trial account.

      Thanks.

      Hello,

I followed the above steps, assigned the 3 roles to my user account as per the above snapshot. However, when I launch the application , the landing page says 'Access is denied'.

P.S: I have signed out /signed in multiple times for the changes to take effect.

      Can you help.

      Great!! Its working now.

What was the difference between, launching, SAP PA in normal browser or incognito browser?

Should we always, go for incognito browser.

I had to close the web browser (which was in incognito mode already) and then reopen it to get rid of the 'Access is denied' show stopper.

      Hi Yogananda Muthaiah

Is it possible to create a tile for sap process automation in launchpad service while accessing free trial?

Part of creating a tile for sap process automation is also creating a new instance of sap process automation but this problem comes up when trying to create new instance.

      Hi Yogananda,

I have subscribed to the SAP Build Process Automation  'Free' Plan.

But if I go to the store and try to ADD a Ready to Use 'Live Process'... I get the following error message

''Error creating service "sap_processautomation" from offering "process-automation-service" and plan "standard": Service plan standard not found.''

      import%20Live%20process%20error

Does that mean that adding Live Processes from the store is only allowed for the 'Standard' plan and not for the 'Free' plan.

      Could you please confirm

      Thanks

      Joseph

      Hi Yogananda,

Thank you for the great blog. Very useful for the beginners!

One thing confusing me is after I assign the role, my access is denied.

      Do you know why?

Try it in Incognito mode in browser... it will work.. Due to cache issues.. but try it after 1 day in normal browser.
