I’m very proud to announce that SAP Data Warehouse Cloud is now available for consumption via the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) cockpit. Customers can get started with our guided experience, followed by the Free Tier offering, and continue their simplified and flexible cloud engagement experience with a productive tenant using the standard plan.
Customers with a Cloud Platform Enterprise Agreement (CPEA) license, can enable the SAP Data Warehouse Cloud Service directly and instantaneously from their SAP BTP Cockpit, and start using it.
Under the CPEA agreement, customers can consume any amount based on their business requirements with no need to estimate the planned scope of usage, or the number of services and resources needed. Once you enable the service, you’ll see a single fixed mountly charge for running the infrastructure in the SAP cloud. For more details, please check our calculator. As users access the service, you will get billed for only the resources and services being consumed.
What’s ahead?
Overall, we plan to equalize the services scope for our subscription and consumption-based offering by the end of the year. But the journey does not stop there. We will continue to enhance the services' portfolio with new developments out of our labs, both from a technical and business service perspective.
