SAP IBP Onboarding Journey Touchpoints

The Onboarding Journey consists in 5 different touchpoints. We have currently 5 live webinars in place every quarter for the new SAP IBP customers attend. In these live webinars we will go over the content of the Onboarding Journey touchpoints.

Touchpoint 1 – Welcome and Introduction 

Main objective is to make sure customers understands the provisioning process and get familiar with the expected communications from SAP so they can login in the systems. In addition, we also want to ensure you are aware of SAP IBP landscape, and entitlements available for SAP IBP solution.

 Main topics covered are:

  • System Provisioning and landscape
  • Solution Overview and Entitlements
  • Implementation Accelerators – SAP Best Practices
  • SAP Preferred Success (if applicable)
  • Getting help and support

 

Touchpoint 2 – Project Readiness

Main objective is to provide the customer a high level knowledge on SAP Activate Methodology, deeper knowledge on each SAP IBP solution and guidance with the respective implementation accelerators available, namely SAP IBP Best Practices.

 Main topics covered are:

  • SAP Activate Project Methodology
  • SAP IBP Solution Walkthrough
  • SAP IBP Best Practices
  • Planning for Upgrades

Touchpoint 3 – Guidance and Enablement 

Major objective is present to the customer key resources, learnings and enablement available to consume free of charge. In this touchpoint we also provide deeper guidance on the different tools available for data integration.

 Main topics covered are:

  • Data Integration
  • IBP Learning and Enablement
  • SAP Enterprise Support
  • General resources
  • SAP Solution Troubleshooting

  

 

 

Touchpoint 4 – Project Progress

Explain to the customer how to leverage SAP Activate Methodology resources during the Realize phase, such as review the status of the project through checklists, and the impact that those can bring towards the success of the project implementation. Share information about EarlyWatch Alerts for IBP, available for customers to consume.

 Main topics covered are:

  • Review your Project Progress
  • Prepare for the Realize Phase
  • EarlyWatch Alerts for SAP IBP

Touchpoint 5 – Go-Live Preparation

Explain to the customer how to leverage SAP Activate Methodology resources during the Deployment and Run phase, such as review the status of the project through checklists, review Cut Over strategy and related activities (such as, uploading master and transaction data, validating roles and authorizations of end users, etc.). Share information about Continuous Quality Checks (CQC) for IBP and the SAP Support resources available for post Go-Live.
