So happy that images can be pasted in SAP Community Q&A, at last!

Just saw that today, I can paste directly an image in SAP Q&A. It’s no more required to have the image as a file on the laptop and upload it. Tested with MS Edge.

I’m so happy that I decided to post a comment, an answer and write a blog post.

Example of comment: Eclipse does not show current method anymore at the top | SAP Community

Example of answer: Syntax of select-options in select query ? | SAP Community

(I didn’t try a question but I guess it should work too)

Alas I can’t paste images in blog posts.

With Edge, I can't paste an image in blog post comments. Weird that you can...

Concerning the URLs, I didn't test. NB: in blog posts, hyperlinks are different from Q&A, I need to add manually target="_blank" in the HTML "Anchor" tag to make it "Open link in a new tab".

      Hello Sandra Rossi

it doesn't work in Google Chrome I have figured out.

we have to support Dominik Tylczynski intension to Enable Gutenberg editor in SAP Blogs

yes, add manually target="_blank" in the HTML "Anchor" is the only solution for quite a while now.

      best regards Roland

Indeed, image copy&paste is available for quite some time in SAP Q&A.

SAP Blogs is a different story as it is based on the WordPress backbone. SAP Blogs still uses classic editor that does not allow image copy&paste. However the new, Gutenberg editor does! See How to Paste Images From Clipboard to WordPress Editor

That is yet another reason why I am advocating Gutenberg in SAP Blogs - Enable Gutenberg editor in SAP Blogs

The article links to a SAP Influence improvement proposal, that is still open for voting.
