Finding balance. Between work and home (and while working from home), healthy meals and junk food, fun and addiction … seems like we strive to find the right balance in everything we do. Same goes with the data we see (or not) at work - an employee should be allowed to view the information she or he needs in order to perform their task successfully – too little or too much data may risk the quality of work or affect security… For this reason, SAP Business One introduces specific authorizations for defining which user can view the price after discount in the Inventory Posting List:
For greater flexibility, there is a separate authorization for Purchasing, Sales, and Inventory documents. In the example above, the user has authorization to view price after discount for sales documents only. When generating the report, the amounts related to Purchasing and Inventory documents under the "Price after Discount" column are hidden by asterisks:
