It's year-end again and between vacation planning, shopping and family meals, many of us think about new year resolutions – exercise more, be a better parent, stop smoking… some of us translate these resolutions into concrete plans – by joining a gym or scheduling meetings for parenting guidance, hoping that this time next year we will be able to celebrate our achievements. While in personal life this season is quite symbolic for making plans, in business much more complicated and sometimes longer term projects are set all year long. If you are managing projects you already know that the Gantt chart is an efficient tool for visualizing the different stages, timeline and progress of projects and subprojects. To increase transparency and efficiency, SAP Business One enhanced the Gantt chart, allowing you to update the project directly from within the Gantt chart:


By moving the time bars of subprojects and project stages to update project timelines for planning purposes. Once you make a change, the OK button changes to "Update" allowing you to save the changes directly to the project.
