Independent Contractor S* id to Universal ID

If you’re an independent contractor like myself and has done certification with SAP under a S* user id,connecting your S* user id to Universal ID may come with some important changes.

I just did this hoping that it would consolidate my accounts as I had created an email account sometime back. But now I just lost all my access to SAP Support Notes.  I have been using my S* id for more than 20 years and use it to blog and link it to certifications and use it to research notes as I go to different clients.

Universal ID admin is now saying my S* id was given under OTC Education Australia and will need a different id. I no longer have an independent access to SAP Support Notes.

Same as you. I also lost my S id.

So, what can be done to get it back?

      Hi Gary,

Unfortunately, I am not aware of any mechanism to get it back.

SAP's user admin notified me that "there is a change to SAP Support deliverables after July 25th".

      Regards,

      Wilbert

Get yourself a free tier BTP account (which I would recommend anyway... ) and AFAIK you will receive a s-user with sap support note access.

I am afraid there is not such a thing as independent access to SAP notes. To my knowledge only customers with valid maintenance/support contracts are entitled to access the notes as they are part of SAP support service.
