The new My Home space in SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2208 orchestrates information, tasks, and applications so that you can thrive in today’s challenging work environment by accessing exactly what you need to do your job with speed and agility. In this blog we will provide an overview on  new My Home in SAP S/4HANA Cloud as well as an outlook on planned enhancements. You might also be interested in a deep dive or the admin guide.

New My Home in SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2208

SAP Fiori Launchpad with the current My Home space already allows you to manage access to apps and provides some critical business information through tiles with counters, KPIs or micro charts. We’ve received very positive feedback on the current My Home space from our customers and they also told us that they would love to get more flexibility on both content and visualization of business insights as well as an overview on their important to dos. Our answer to their request is the new My Home space in SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2208.

Overview

New My Home  gives you easy access to business insights and helps you to access and manage your to dos (combining items from the My Inbox and the My Situations apps), your favorite pages, your favorite apps, and your insights – and this, on any device. New My Home builds on the functionality of SAP Fiori Launchpad in SAP S/4HANA Cloud and leverages spaces and pages (as a prerequisite).

Outlook

We plan to further evolve the new My Home space to:

• Streamline personalization by providing intelligent recommendations and consolidating user settings


• Enhance the content, for example by bringing more information on the to do cards


• Expand the insights capabilities to allow for more flexible card creation and personalization from various sources starting with apps based on SAP Fiori elements
