We all are aware of how important this transaction is. This blog post is a repost of a Linkedin Blog based on a document created by Chaitanya Bhangale.

Purpose of Automatic account determination :

• When good movement is entered, if the G/L account is to be posted 
  manually it is quite impossible to recollect and feed the correct G/L account
  every time during the transaction.


• By automatic determination SAP system recollect all the data to determine
  the correct GL account during the transaction.
