In this blog post I’ll explain what a Leading Note is, why I recommend that you use it, and how you can make the most of this new resource.
What is a Leading Note?
The Leading Note for Peru is your new all-inclusive resource for the implementation of SAP Document and Reporting Compliance reports (DRC, formerly known as ACR). The Leading Note provides you with:
- A collective SAP Note: This one resource contains all the SAP Notes needed to implement your SAP Document and Reporting Compliance reports.
- FAQs and helpful links: Find answers to frequently asked questions, as well as links to SAP Help Portal documentation and central SAP Document and Reporting Compliance resources.
- A live resource: The Leading Note is frequently updated with the most recent SAP Notes, FAQs, and links.
Why should I use a Leading Note?
The Leading Note saves you time by maintaining all the relevant SAP Notes in one place, so you won’t spend time worrying if you’ve missed an important update. If you are having an issue running your reports, then check here first to see if you have missed a past or recent implementation step.
What’s more, the Leading Note provides you with the correct order in which to install these SAP Notes, so it’s never been easier to ensure the smooth running of your SAP Document and Reporting Compliance solution.
Finally, you may sometimes have questions about your product implementation, so we’ve created a list of FAQs that will help you with the most frequent doubts that arise. If your question is not answered in our Leading Note, then please open an incident in the SAP Support Portal for the FI-LOC-FI-PE component. Your question will then be added to the FAQs, so you’ll be helping us to help others in the future.
How do I use the Leading Note?
There are two steps you need to take to implement our SAP Note 3206609 – DRC Peru: Leading Note for Reports Implementation:
- Complete the prerequisite tasks listed in Question 2 of the FAQs, such as verifying the central requirements for the SAP Document and Reporting Compliance framework and SAP Fiori.
- Install the SAP Notes listed in SAP Note 3206609 – DRC Peru: Leading Note for Reports Implementation in ascending order (start with “1”, then “2”, and upwards from there). Here’s a screenshot of the first few SAP Notes you need to install:
