Climate Change is the biggest challenge of our times”. Christian Klein – CEO SAP

SAP’s purpose is to help the world run better and improve people's lives. We believe social, environmental, and economic activities and performance are interrelated – each impacting the others. Our efforts focus on creating a sustainable future for SAP, our partners, our customers, and society.

For 50 years, companies have turned to SAP to measure, manage, and optimize their top- and bottom-line business outcomes. At the beginning of 2022 SAP added the ability to measure sustainability outcomes and bring clarity to their green line.

To manage the green line, companies need business process technology to identify, quantify, analyze, and act on data through their end-to-end operations. To enable this, our new offering, SAP Cloud for Sustainable Enterprises, brings together a comprehensive portfolio of solutions, that enables businesses to holistically manage sustainability performance.

While the solution is comprehensive, the approach is simple: one customizable cloud offering, one license, with expert implementation support from SAP and our highly skilled partner ecosystem.

To create awareness in and to kick-start enablement of SAP’s huge partner ecosystem, the Partner Solution Adoption team has created a task force to run a web-series around sustainability that covers all aspects around SAP Cloud for Sustainable Enterprises and the opportunities for our partners.

We started with sessions around SAP’s Intelligent Sustainable Enterprise Strategy and SAP as an Exemplar. Followed by sessions in which subject matter experts gave insights into the four different themes:

Building on this content, an additional series gave partners insights into several products and focus industries for sustainability such as:

Partners showed a great interest, which underlines the strategic importance of the topic. Almost 2,000 participants from 447 partners globally attended the sessions. Data is showing that most interest is coming from Germany, United States, India and several European countries.

Sustainability enablement is now in full swing. You can soon expect a partner learning journey, followed by further deep dive trainings, so stay tuned. For further information please visit us on the SAP Partner Portal and our Intelligent, Sustainable Enterprise Learning Room.
