What’s New in SAP Litmos Release 2111

Introduction

Litmos is a cloud-based solution that unifies virtual, classroom, mobile, and social learning. It is a learning platform that powers today’s intelligent enterprise training. It’s the engine behind some of the most sophisticated training programs in the world with the capacity to scale to millions of users, a next-gen feature set, and an interface best known for streamlined simplicity and incredible ease-of-use

In this post, I will share the key updates for Litmos release 2111 as per my learning from the Litmos event.

New Features

MS Team Integration

Microsoft Teams is a proprietary business communication platform developed by Microsoft as part of the Microsoft 365 family of products. Teams primarily compete with Slack's similar service, offering workspace chat and videoconferencing, file storage, and application integration.

With Microsoft Teams Virtual Instructor-led-trainings in litmos, you will be able to:

• Automatically create Teams sessions


• Launch Teams directly as an Instructor or learner


• Generate a Teams participation report to sync Roll call for all the learners

SAP Litmos APIs are now available in the SAP API business hub

One can access the same from SAP API Platform and then search with litmos. You will get a page like this for litmos APIs.

Enhancement

Content library Search enhancement

Search updates to Tag with underscore: Content library search has been updated to recognize a space in the search string as an underscore in the context of Tags. With this search string, when the user tags "Human Resource" and a tag in the system exists with an underscore like "Human_Resource," those will be selected and presented on the search results.

Marking guide text and files in the question bank

Account owners now have an option to add marking guide text and files to questions in the Question Bank.

Free text questions in the assessment support marking instruction and marking guide files such as rubrics; this functionality has been extended into the question bank to enable reuse across the assessment.

Bug fixes

• ILT Zoom: Label changed from "Zoom training" to "Zoom meeting" for session type.


• Content Author: if a quick results element was put inside an accordion item, question/answer text, score, and module completion status could be missing after completing the module. This is resolved now.

Conclusion:

SAP litmus is evolving with time and as per customer needs. These were the highly anticipated upgrade to the Litmos learning management system. If someone has a Litmos account, just log in to see these shiny features more than you ever could see before.
