The challenge:

SBGC joined with SAP partner Inflexion to consolidate all their processes onto a single platform. Their challenge:

• They were using an e-commerce platform for two of its brands.
• The customer used 3rd party logistics providers for warehousing and transportation.
• SBGC has multiple retailers in four different countries to receive and fulfil orders electronically.
• They have retail boutiques and sales data needs to be submitted to the Real Estate Management company where the retail outlets are housed.

The partner’s recommendation:

Together with the SAP partner, SBGC adapted SAP Business ByDesign as Cloud ERP solution to manage the 16 companies spread across four countries (UAE, USA, UK & France) which included the manufacturing and distribution of perfumes and associated line of products. SAP Business ByDesign was implemented by Inflexion to manage the data exchange challenge and interface with all external stakeholders.

To handle these with minimum effort, and in order to meet fast-changing business dynamics, Inflexion suggested SAP Integration Suite and all its functionalities to achieve an integration between SBGC’s multiple platforms. The partner also implemented multiple complex iflow packages between SAP Business ByDesign and various software from external providers.

The outcome:

The newly integrated system based on SAP Business Technology Platform provides 360-degree information providing an outstanding customer view. SBGC now enjoys greater data transparency, smoother operations and accurate inventory oversight of all its subsidiaries.
