Hack2Build – an Amazing Showcase with Finalist SAT Infotech
What a wonderful hacking journey! Last year, SAP Co-Innovation Lab (COIL) North America invited more than 35 participants representing six partner teams to join a week-long Hack2Build event. In April 2022, SAP Partner SAT Infotech published its finalist use case to convey their innovative technology.
Hack2Build is a rapid prototyping initiative for SAP partners. Partners turn their ideas and concepts into tangible prototypes with coaching and guidance from SAP experts in a short span of one to two weeks. Each prototype solves a real-life business challenge and represents the starting point of a full-fledged business solution that creates value for customers on SAP technology.
The preparation phase:
Partners had to get ready for the hackathon, several weeks before the event actually started. In a pre-session, the SAP COIL team introduced the agenda of the hackathon and walked everyone through the required system landscape (SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP BTP platform including multiple services such as SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Event Mesh, SAP Business Application Studio, SAP BTP Kyma Runtime, Workflow Management, etc.).
The event:
It was a busy but exciting week of coding and hacking, with the engineering support from SAP. On the final day, six partner teams presented their solutions in a two-hours long demo jam to a panel of experts.
The finalist:
SAP Partner SAT Infotech with their prototype “KonneKt Digital Assistant for SAP S/4HANA” emerged as the finalist use case of the Hack2Build SAP S/4HANA Cloud Side-by-Side Extension Hackathon North America.
The solution:
KonneKt Platform is an enterprise-grade virtual assistant specialized in dialog management. The platform helps businesses to streamline enterprise information communications, tightly integrated to SAP S/4HANA to provide contextual and personal experience to customers, vendors and employees. It enables a digital-first experience, provides real-time, scalable self-service, and reduces costs by improving the digital experience.
In April 2022, SAP Partner SAT Infotech published its use case to convey their technology and co-innovation with SAP teams in both the SAP HANA Academy YouTube channel and the SAP Store. These publications highlight how SAT Infotech participated in the Hack2Build event and co-innovated the use case with the support from SAP’s engineering team. It reveals the innovative offering that was developed by using SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP S/4HANA side by side extensions.
