Release Highlights

Augmented Analytics

Predictive Planning – Forecast on Business Calendar

In the SAP Analytics Cloud planning model, users have the ability to use a standard business calendar (as opposed to the Gregorian calendar) based on industry-standard patterns (such as 4-4-5, 13x4, or 5-5-6).

Predictive Planning now supports periodic and week-granularity patterns in planning model time dimensions. With the support of business calendars, users will have the ability to build predictive models in predictive planning and to create predictive forecasts that can be written back into the planning model.

Enterprise Planning

Ability to Reopen Data Locking Tasks

Users can now reopen data locking tasks, including the revert of the data locking state. Within the context panel, users can define a data locking state that is set in the revert case. Both manual and automatic data locking tasks apply the reverted lock state to the specified data when reopened either by the owner or when they are part of a dependency chain that reopens preceding tasks through a rejection by a reviewer

Note that data locking tasks with a start date in the past can’t apply the reverted lock state and need to be recreated.
