Address Information Possibly Unavailable for Partner Type Personnel (PE)

In SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Cloud, address information may be unavailable for partner functions of partner type Personnel (PE) in some scenarios. Example partner functions include Sales Employee and Employee Responsible.

Scenario 1: Sales document related apps

When you open a sales document related app (for example, Manage Sales Quotations), address information for partner functions of partner type Personnel (PE) may not show.

However, the address can be shown for such a partner function if you have created a document specific address.

Scenario 2: Custom CDS views and Apps

Address information is unavailable for partner functions of partner type personnel (PE), if you create your own custom views or apps based on certain CDS views. These views include but are not limited to the following:

• I_SDDocumentPartner


• I_SalesOrderPartner


• I_SalesDocumentPartner


• I_SDDocumentCompletePartners

Note that address information for partner functions of partner type personnel (PE) is always available in the following cases (taking sales orders as an example):

• In Web GUI apps, if you are using SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Example apps include Create Sales Orders - VA01, Change Sales Orders - VA02, and Display Sales Orders - VA03.

• In Web GUI apps and backend transactions, if you are using SAP S/4HANA. Example backend transactions include VA01, VA02, and VA03.
