First Half 2022 Release: What’s New in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central?

With the First Half 2022 SAP SuccessFactors Release, we are excited to provide new features and capabilities in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central that will enable operational efficiency and an enhanced user experience. Here are a few innovations you can expect in the upcoming release:
Additional Alerts on the Reimagined Home Page
For the 1H 2022 release, we are unveiling additional SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central alerts on the reimagined home page. Users will now be able to view the most urgent pending tasks for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central without leaving the home page. Easy-to-consume, actionable cards within the “For You Today” section provide timely reminders of upcoming tasks and events, such as the expiration of documents or employee data changes. This enhancement to the user experience improves efficiency, especially when it comes to processing important, time-sensitive requests. Configurable New Hire for Contingent Workers
In addition, contingent workers are now supported in the Configurable New Hire process. You will now be able to configure the “add contingent worker” transaction with custom templates, similar to the options available for the “add new employee” transaction. This additional capability speeds up the new hire process for non-employees and enables a more flexible approach to total workforce management. Master Data Integration Services
Finally, we are improving the comprehensive hire-to-retire process with additional master data integration services. This includes the addition of banks, currency exchange rates, and company codes. For customers with multiple cloud solutions, this common data exchange will help to further enable the intelligent enterprise. Learn more about SAP Master Data Integration here.
