Whether you’re a new or an experienced customer/partner we all agree that the Cloud world offers challenges that we are all learning together. Just like 50 years ago, SAP’s goal is to minimize the complexity of this variable in your business equation.
Hence, to kickstart your project, we have designed an Onboarding Journey with three live webinars to help you getting started. Please note, that this is the Onboarding Journey for SAP S/4HANA Cloud. You can find an equivalent blog for SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud edition here.
The Onboarding Resource Center is the start of your journey as a RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud customer. It summarizes the pertinent guidance regarding the Onboarding Journey Touchpoints which include informational requirements to access your system, introduces you to support options, answers initial setup questions and provides a walkthrough into the initial access to the system.
Touchpoint 1 – Welcome and Introduction
The welcome and introduction session main objective is to make sure you have received the expected communications from SAP so you can login in the system. In addition, we also want to ensure you are aware of the RISE with SAP entitlements and where to go for deep dives on such entitlements. An introduction to the system landscape and upgrades will also be covered during this hour.
Touchpoint 2 – Project Readiness
Whether new or existing customer, the cloud environment offers a different perspective into software, hence, with this second touchpoint we want to equip you with the knowledge to run the project successfully. We start with an overview of the SAP Activate Methodology as the project methodology for cloud implementations with SAP software, we will cover also how the software is configured and extended, we will go through the software update framework and finally, we introduce the different products available at SAP Support which go beyond the incident management itself and it includes a diverse portfolio to help you along the way
Touchpoint 3 – Guidance and Enablement
In the last touchpoint our aim is to make sure your organization knows where to go expand the knowledge of our solutions to achieve maximum business outcomes. As such, we start on where to go for help from the solution itself, we introduce the different options you have to influence the future of the product you have subscribed and finally we present the foundational enablement to ensure you know where to start.
