Preparing for E_S4CPE_2021 or E_S4CPE_2022:SAP Certified Application Specialist – SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition implementation with SAP Activate certification

In this blog I wish to share my learning experience with the consultants who are aiming towards attaining “E_S4CPE_2021/2022 – SAP Certified Application Specialist – SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition implementation with SAP Activate certification”

As with any certification, Learning hub access is a must to access the learning content that is needed for this certification.

This certification is available in 2 versions as specified below.

E_S4CPE_2021: This is a 2 hours exam with 40 questions .The cut off score for the same is 68%

E_S4CPE_2022: This is a 3 hours exam with 80 questions .The cut off score for the same is 65%

Note:Both covers the same topic area despite being provided as 2 different exams except that E_S4CPE_2022 is the latest version of this exam.

1.S4CP01-Planning Strategies for RISE with SAP

This e-book explains the SAP Activate methodology phases involved in implementing RISE program for both public and private cloud.This all along compares/ brings out the differences with respect to SAP Activate methodology between RISE with SAP for both public and private cloud.

2.S4CP03 – RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition Onboarding Fundamentals

This e-book explains the SAP Activate methodology phases involved in implementing RISE program for private cloud.(RISE with SAP S/4HANA,private edition)

Despite the fact that the topic areas provided by SAP say 10% coverage from S4CP01, the majority of key content is covered in both the e-books . That is 80% of information available in S4C03 is already covered by S4CP01.Also , I personally found understanding S4CP01 followed by S4C03 was much easier.

(NOTE PCE acronym is no more used for RISE with SAP S/4 HANA, private edition).

Learning options available:

Rather than following the pdfs – S4CP01 and S4C03, using SAP pre-recorded sessions followed by the respective Learning journey will be easier and helps with a better understanding of the topics . Below are the links for the same.

2. Assessment from Learning hub:

While there are only a few sample assessments present in the learning hub, we can also take up other learning hub assessments for RISE with SAP S/4HANA public cloud and Extended Cloud .This is due to the fact that the underlying Activate methodology that will be followed is almost similar despite the infrastructure and application management level which will be different. That is only Roles and Responsibilities with infrastructure and application
