Excel upload Sales Document Creation in SAP S/4HANA On Premise
This blog is for SD consultants. This functionality can be used after SAP S/4HANA OP2021 initial stack version.
SAP S/4HANA OP2021 FPS00 or upper version. Fiori server must be installed. The user must have “SAP_BR_INTERNAL_SALES_REP” role.
Execute App ID: F4293 “Import Sales Orders”
Click “Download Template” button.
“SalesOrderImportTemplate.xlsx” is downloaded. “Field List” sheet describes field name and its is mandatory or option.
“Order Data” sheet is the input data for sales order creation. Header and line item data side by side. You can set the data for several sales orders.
Set Header data and item data. Save it.
Execute App ID: F4293 “Import Sales Orders” again. Drag and drop the Excel file or browse it. Then preview appears. Click “>”.
You can see the item details. Push “X” to go back previous screen.
Push Create Import button.
Push View History button.
You can see the created Sales Orders,
You can use custom fields for this function.
Activate the custom fields UI for “Import Sales Order” by using Fiori Apps “Custom Fields and Logic”.
Custom fields appear in the template.
Insert the custom field with Technical Field Name into Order Data manually. Row 4 is Field Name (Technical).
You can see the custom field was stored in the sales order.
Order types must belong to document category C (Order).
Sales orders do not have to be created with reference to a preceding document.
The sales order fields provided in this app do not suffice for creating sales orders with billing plan or for one-time customers. If you have created these sales orders using the app, you must make order data complete later in the Change Sales Orders – VA02 app.
