SAP Solution for Telecommunications Reaches Silver Tier in the TM Forum Open API Conformance Certification Program

During my years working in the Telecommunications industry, I learned that Telco Service Providers who choose to implement software that follows globally established standards and industry best practices not only makes everything work smoothly and efficiently but provides the foundation to create innovative offerings and maximize their revenue.

At SAP my goal as a Solution Owner is to build the best software that Telecommunications companies can rely on to implement and elevate their customer's journeys at every level.  For this reason, we decided to make our solution, the SAP Commerce Cloud telco and utilities accelerator, pursue the best standards for the industry, which meant aligning and implementing the TM Forum SID data model and TM Forum APIs in our architecture.

Obtaining TM Forum Conformance Certification is a fantastic reward for the SAP Telecommunications team, and one to be proud of.  Being recognized with a Silver Tier badge motivates us to keep up the work to build the finest Telecommunications omnichannel solution in the market.

This achievement proves that our SAPs omnichannel commerce solution for CSPs successfully implemented TM Forum Open APIs and are consistent with TM Forum’s globally recognized standards and best practices.  Our certified list thus far:
