DWCBW1: Upcoming SAP BW Bridge training dates
Hello SAP Data Warehousing enthusiasts!
In November 2021, the SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, BW Bridge was released and has caught a high level of attention from the first moment. This is reflected in quickly growing number of resources like blog posts, videos, tutorials etc. One missing piece however is an easy way to get a real hands-on experience. SAP Education is dedicated to close this gap by following new training course:
- Save the name: SAP Data Warehouse Cloud: SAP BW Bridge (DWCBW1)
- Duration: 2 days / 3 days
- Location: virtual class via ZOOM
- Language of system and material: English only
- Spoken language: English or German
All future Events:
- February 01-03 (We-Fr) for Europe in German
- February 13+14 (Mo+Tu) SAP internal in German
- March 01-03 (We-Fr) for APAC in English
Additional events are currently in discussion will be published here when they are available.
The course has a strong focus on hands-on experience and provides more than 20 exercises to implement a complete end-to-end scenario. One focus is set on a greenfield approach where you leverage SAP standard extractors to connect to a classic on premise SAP source and transfer the data. The new data model in the BW Bridge is then shared with native SAP Data Warehouse Cloud where it is enhanced and finally consumed in SAP Analytics Cloud.
Another scenario introduced in this training is the migration from SAP BW 7.x or SAP BW/4HANA. A legacy BW data flow is collected and migrated into SAP BW Bridge based on the standard toolset provided by SAP.
Finally, the SAP BW/4HANA Model Transfer, which publishes BW data in a federated (virtual) way to SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, is covered in theory and by a demo.
As you see in the image below, several components are available for all the DWCBW1 exercises and demos.
Attention: This is not a course for the faint-hearted beginner, because this training rocks!
Prior SAP BW development experience is expected.
