I would like to share with you an update regarding B2B Library versions included in the SAP Integration Advisor offering: Just a few days ago we have added all the recently published versions of cXML. Moreover, in the last couple of months we have also included more versions for ASC X12 (008020) and UN/EDIFACT (D.20B, D.21A and D.21B).

The picture above depicts the overall building blocks of Integration Advisor. This blog post mainly relates to the Type Systems (B2B Library) area.

B2B Libraries in SAP Integration Advisor

SAP Integration Advisor provides you with the Message Definitions for frequently used B2B Message Standards.

Our offering currently includes the predominantly used B2B Standards ASC X12 and UN/EDIFACT plus cXML, EANCOM and Odette as well as the Automotive EDIFACT subsets for JAIF, Odette and VDA. You can find them in the Library of Type System section of the Integration Advisor.

Based on these standard definitions, you can create and maintain your own customized Message Implementation Guidelines (MIGs) and implement Mapping Guidelines (MAGs) using these message definitions.

New Versions for cXML

For cXML we have uploaded 11 new versions – which means, you can now choose between altogether 17 versions (from 1.2.037 to 1.2.053).

New Version for ASC X12

For ASC X12 we have added the version 008020 and now offer altogether 36 versions (from 002001 to 008020).

New Versions for UN/EDIFACT

For UN/EDIFACT we have included the versions D.20B, D.21A and D.21B – which brings the number of supported versions to 60 (from 92.1 to D.21B).

Conclusion

With this latest update, SAP Integration Advisor has added the newest versions of cXML, ASC X12 and UN/EDIFACT that allows you to build your Message Implementation Guidelines (MIGs) and Mapping Guidelines (MAGs) based on all the released versions of these B2B Standards.
