Join us for UI5con ON AIR 2022 on July 7-8
We would love to have UI5con as an in-person event again. However, in times of uncertainty, we cannot foresee how the local and international regulations will change by July 2022. All things considered, we anticipate a virtual meeting for the time being. On the one hand, this is unfortunate, but we would like to see the glass half full: Everyone around the world can join UI5con!
Ok, virtual networking is never the same as meeting people face to face, but you – the tight-knit UI5 community – will make the best out of this again – right!?
What Is This All About?
UI5con started in 2016 as a side project from a group of volunteers with the intention of bringing the UI5 community closer together. They wanted to create a platform for people who share a passion for UI5 to meet and learn from each other.
First UI5con in Frankfurt (March 11, 2016)
Our audience ranges from novices to experts and connects the SAP ecosystem with open-source developers. We attract wizards from the community but also encourage newbies to share their knowledge in talks and workshops – these viewpoints and insights are of real value to push the community as a whole forward.

The UI5con idea originated from the UI5 community and should remain an event organized by the community. Therefore, we invite everyone within the community to support us in shaping the 2022 event. We’re still looking for volunteers to make UI5con an unforgettable experience again for everyone involved.

Update March 03, 2022: We’re excited to announce the call for speakers for UI5con ON AIR 2022 (July 07-08, 2022). Everyone in the UI5 community is invited to submit their session and hands-on ideas. The call for speakers is open until April 11th, 2022! Propose your topic.
Update March 30, 2022: The committee responsible for the assessment of the submitted proposals and the final composition of the program has been formed. You can find the individual names on the UI5con home page.
Update June 01, 2022: UI5con is going hybrid in 2022! Registration starts on June 03, 2022 at 12 pm.
