How to Build Your First Process in SAP Process Automation

SAP Process Automation is now generally available. We want would be happy to see you become an expert at this tool, so that you can adapt, improve and innovate the business processes within your company – and make a difference.

Rome wasn’t built in a day. To help you get started with SAP Process Automation, I’ve created a tutorial about building a simple process that manages Sales Orders. I chose this use case, because the processing of Sales Orders is still manual, time intensive and error-prone in many companies. Additionally, it will give you the opportunity to explore the integration of approval steps within a process.

By following this tutorial, you will learn how to:

  • create a project
  • create a process
  • build various forms
  • map the forms to the input data
  • insert a condition into the process

Visit the SAP Help Portal to find documentation about all the fields and their content that are featured in this video:

There are more tutorials to come, which will further expand the process by introducing more features of SAP Process Automation. I am looking forward to creating them for you!
