The release of SAP HANA 1.0 SPS 12 in 2016 was the final release of SAP HANA 1.0, and it originally had a five-year maintenance term set to end in May 2021. The end of maintenance for SAP HANA 1.0 SPS 12 was extended until the end of June 2021. All customers should have upgraded a supported version of HANA 2.0.

We are committed to helping our customers maximize and safeguard their existing investments as they chart their path into the future. Extending the end of maintenance for SAP HANA 2.0 SPS 04 and SAP HANA 1.0 SPS 12 until the end of June 2021 has given our customers a full year to complete their upgrade to SAP HANA 2.0 SPS 05. In addition, there are no further extensions of the maintenance windows of SAP HANA 1.0 SPS 12 or SAP HANA 2.0 SPS 04 planned beyond the end of June 2021. However, the five-year maintenance term for SAP HANA 2.0 SPS 05 provides customers currently using previous versions of SAP HANA a clear path to plan and carry out their upgrade, along with the security of knowing that they can remain on the target version for an extended period of time.
Based on this, support for HANA 1.0 connectivity in SAP Analytics Cloud will also be ending in the near future. Final timelines for deprecating support for HANA 1.0 connections are under discussion and will be announced shortly. Please ensure that if you have not already done so your move to a supported version of HANA is underway and upgrade your SAP Analytics Cloud connections accordingly in preparation for the deprecation of support of HANA 1.0 connectivity.
