Dears,

I have shared experience on LTMC tool to migrate fixed asset balance, which you can find link here:
Migration Cockpit (LTMC) 1 – Migrate Asset balance for fixed assets.

Now I am going to share approach to migrate AUC balance/items via LTMC tool. Hope it would be helpful during your project implementation for AUC balance/items migration.

Regarding the LTMC project creation and cutover parameter maintenance, you can refer to linkage above, let's start directly on steps demo for AUC migration.

Suppose we have below AUC to be migrated:

1.Update sheets to be used in standard template

Master details sheet

Posting Information sheet

Time-Dependent Data sheet

Depreciation Areas sheet. Note: depreciation key information should be updated for all areas.

Transactions (Transf. dur. FY) sheet.

For AUC, balance would be migrated via this sheet only, which is different than approach for fixed asset. Balance/items of asset capitalized in previous fiscal years need to be migrated via transaction type 900, and balance of current fiscal year need to be migrated via transaction type 100.

Note: standard transaction types used here are only for demo purpose, it can be another types based on different project requirement.

Another point is the same attention needed that to keep same sequence no if parallel currency function activated.

Once done, save template.

2. Upload template and active the object.

After uploaded and activated, then follow steps validate->convert->simulate->execute.

3.Validate Data

Select the object, and process 'Start transfer', then system will start data validation. Process 'Next' without any error.

4.Convert value, confirm value mapping between system and upload template. System already proposed the default mapping, it can be confirmed one by one, all confirm all together.

Process task -> one by one

Confirm mapping values – confirm all together

Make sure all fields are mapped and confirmed.

5.Data simulation.

Process 'Next' without any error.

6. Execute Import.

AUC balance/items migration was done, and it can be marked as finished.

AUC asset can be checked in SAP:
