Material Inventory Balance upload or Initial stock upload using S4 HANA 2020 Fiori Migration cockpit tile…..

Dear SAP Folks,

In this blog post, I will share how to upload initial stock or material inventory balance using Migration Cockpit this tile is available in (S4HANA 2020)

Introduction,

Migration Cockpit is a awesome tile it can be used to upload more than 119 masters datas

one of our frd already posted Initial stock entry using LTMC refer below link

But its is the advance version – only possible in Fiori tile S4HANA 2020 Migtration Cockpit

Now we see Initial stock upload,

Steps.

  1. Project creation
  2. Download Material Inventory balance template and fill initial stock data’s
  3. Upload
  4. Prepare
  5. Mapping Task
  6. Simulate
  7. Migrate

Project Creation

While creation of Project client should be open condition then only possible to create project if client not open means system doesnot shows create icon.

Follow Screen shot steps.

Here Enter Project Name and enter

Select Material Inventory balance and move right side

Now click Review

Here click do not allow if click allow means system takes relavant master data file

Now click create project

Here Project is created then click right side Arrow below migration object.

Now download Material inventory balance template and update Material number, Qty, Batch amount, Date of manufacture……etc

Now upload file and Follow screen shot…..

File uploaded successfully now go to the prepare step.

Click preparation task

Preparation task is completed next click mapping task and confirm all datas

Mapping task is completed now click simulate.

Simulation is completed successfully then click Migrate

Now final step migration is completed then go to the material document list it shows all data Material Number, Qty, Batch, Amount if you want detaily means open material docment and see………..

      How to enter the posting date of material document? In template there is no option for posting date.

      Hi Saad,

      you can enter material document data in the template provided by SAP, however posting date is entered in customizing through tocde: FINS_MIG_CTRL_1.
