Good news for SAP Partners who asked for more ways to interact with experts across the world: SAP Community has launched our first private partner group, which is dedicated to partners focused on SAP Business Technology Platform.

Within a Partner Group, SAP partners can learn more about trends, get news and updates about partner programs and enablement, and also give feedback on important topics for you, your business, and your customers.

SAP Business Technology Platform is the first dedicated partner group. We look forward to launching others soon on SAP Community.

What are groups on SAP Community?

As I announced at SAP TechEd, we launched Groups (beta) to enable more connections and discussions between SAP Community members.  By joining a public group, individuals with common interests can connect and engage in various activities. Within a Group, content and discussions are focused on a specific topic and are visible to all members.

So far, we have launched three public groups: SAP TechEd, SAP BTP Learning, and Coffee Corner.  It’s exciting to see the number of conversations happening every day in the form of posts, views, and comments in each group.

For SAP partners, we have developed private groups, which will have the same capabilities as the public groups. In a private group, content and discussions are visible ONLY to members of the group.

How can I join the SAP Community Partner Group for SAP Business Technology Platform?

Joining is easy. If you are an SAP partner, you need to log in with your partner account and click on the Partner Groups tab or follow this link to see the description of the group. Once you are ready to engage, you’ll need to set up your profile first by clicking on the avatar in the right-hand corner of the page. It’s still your same account but in this new area, you will need to select a user name, what others will see when you post. You can also change your avatar picture.

As with everything else in the community, please follow the Rules of Engagement. If you have questions about Groups, please visit the Help section.

What will I find in the Partner Group for SAP Business Technology Platform?

Right away, you will find discussion threads on SAP certifications, examples of implementation successes, and new ways to spur innovation. If you have more questions, you can start your own thread to hear from SAP experts and partners who can help you work through problems and find solutions.
