SAP BRIM integration is there on FI-CA and SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting integration.

Also in SAP S/4HANA, there is a seamless integration of SAP BRIM and SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting.

Direct integration with the Sales and Distribution (SD) system, SAP Convergent Invoicing billable items, and FI-CA provider contracts is provided by the BRIM architecture.

SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting is powered by three primary data types, referred to as

  1. revenue accounting items: order items (CA01),

  2. fulfillment items (CAO2), and

  3. invoice items (CA03).

FI-CA integrates these revenue accounting items into SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting via the SAP BRIM framework.

To activate the standard revenue item classes and interfaces for CAO1, CAO2, and CA03, the initial setup for settings must be completed.

After activating these business functions, the configuration nodes for SAP Convergent Invoicing and FI-CA integration with SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting will appear under Financial Accounting Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable - Integration. Accounting for Revenue.

Once the configuration nodes are available, the interface components necessary for SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting must be activated for the billable item class.

SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting interface components include Service Types for Revenue Account Assignment and Integration with Revenue Accounting.
