Let’s talk Coding for Kids with Snap!
Did you know that SAP makes a visual programming language for Computing Education?
Snap! Build Your Own Blocks is the programming language kids in Silicon Valley learn in high school and college students at UC Berkeley use to explore the Beauty and Joy of Computing.
During SAP TechEd’s Devtoberfest Jens Moenig and Jadga Huegle took us all on an exclusive backstage tour of their R&D lab during two live sessions.
These sessions are now available for replay in SAP Developers channel.
Designing a Programming Language for All Children
In that presentation Jens explained design principles, architecture and pedagogical mission of Snap!
When Jens demoed AR just using a few blocks…
Programming Beauty and Joy
In that session Jens was joined by Jadga, and they explored classical algorithmic art through recording and remixing…
…using just squares ⬜

Hi Witalij Rudnicki ,
Thank your for your mention. I would like to come across a website like this when I was a kid.
That was awesome and now I know how to activate the developers mode
